Ma Yongqiang

Ma Yongqiang, born in 1971 in Yantai, Shandong Province, China, graduated from the Printmaking Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He is one of the leading figures in contemporary Chinese art, known for his distinctive artistic language that merges realism and surrealism. Over the years, Ma has explored the forces of nature, the mysteries of the universe, and the philosophical depths of human existence in his work. His art uses delicate pointillist techniques and strong contrasts of light and shadow to create visually powerful and thought-provoking pieces.
