Zhou Jinhua

Zhou Jinhua's works adopt a bird's-eye view perspective—a view from above, presenting an aloof way of observation. In these works, what we see is not a real visual experience nor purely subjective
expression, but a thoughtful attitude of observation from above. He uses scenes like calm lotus ponds and game worlds as vehicles to lead us into a reality that is both beautiful and distorted. Beneath the seemingly bright and rich colors in these works, there are complex inner contradictions and conflicts
hidden within.
